To All Members, Past, Present & Future,

May we take this oppurtunity to thank you for your continued support since 1992 in putting us, the GROUP, in a leading position throughout the world. May we also take this oppurtunity to thank all D.T. operators for their courtesy in maintaining 100% QSL. The Group has gone from strenght to strenght and we believe it will continue to do so for many more years to come.

The Management Team's principal aim is to persue the policy of MEMBERS FOR MEMBERS, all working with each other and for each other, for the long-term future of the Group.
Although we have encountered some problems in 1998, these have now been successfully resolved. Whilst we do not profess to be perfect, we strive to learn from past mistakes and are always open to new suggestions and ideas.
It has not been, and never will be our practise, to persue the policy of renewals on an annual basis. It is clearly stated on the application forms that MEMBERSHIP IS FOR LIFE. There is no intention, either now or in the future, to change this policy.
If you wish to help your Co-ordinator or Directors overseas on a practical or financial level, please contact them directly.

For future members wishing to join, please apply to PO Box 174, Preston, Lancashire. PR1 0BS. England, and your membership will be forwarded to you as quickly as possible. Please allow 28 days.
Due to rising printing, administration and postal charges over the last 12 months, we have had to increase the cost of membership. We feel this is a very fair price for a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP and a very comprehensive package, incorporatin a 24 hour Helpline, Fax and Internet facilities. Any member using PO Box 174, please send self addressed return envelopes to HQ.

We have introduced First Class Operators, 75 division confirmed (£5.00/$10.00), also Super Class Operators, 150 division confirmed (£5.00/$10.00), in 1998, and welcome any further applications for this status from any current and future member.

Membership for this Group will never be restirted and will always remain an open door policy to encourage newcomers to radio to get a club status and confirmations. No confirmations are, nor ever will be necessary to enrol as a member.

From a tiny acorn sown in 1992 by the founder member 01 Mr Allan, a very large oak tree has grown, its branches outstretching across the globe to form what is now known as the D.T.'s. This has been achieved with the united efforts of many, many people throughout the world. Whether as a member, Co-ordinator, Director or Supervisor, their efforts have at the present time achieved unequalled success throughout radio worldwide. It is our intention for the oak tree to continue to grow, both in size and strength.

To clarify the meaning of D.T.'s, the name originates from the phonetic alphabet - DELTA TANGO, not, as has been suggested, Dick Turpin. Furthermore, St. George and the Dragon are the Group's motto, renowned throughout the world as an English legend. We share our name with other International Groups, who also add other names to their title. We have endeavoured in the past to remain independent and shall continue to do so.

Our membership throughout the world is approximately 5000 at present. Whilst there is always room for expansion, we shall never compromise our high standards and excellent package, which is readily available to any operators in the world of radio.
Our long-term objectives are to spread Friendship Throughout Radio, to unite our countries, promote continued good relations and to forge new bonds. This Group is always on the lookout for good operators throughout the world to act for and on our behalf, therefore lightening the load as the Group approaches the Millennium.

Our aim for the future

1. Co-ordinators and Directors in Divisions will become self-supporting and responsible only to DT HQ. S/E Stations and DX expeditions will have to notify HQ of their intentions. Any special DX expedition or S/E held, that has not been submitted to HQ, will not be recognised, and it is advised that members making contact with these stations should not make a contribution.

2. Each Division to print it's own Flag card and maintain it's own membership

3. A regular liason between Divison and HQ

That is all for now, so good luck, good DX from all at HQ

The Management Team.
